I'm a fairly recent Devil May Cry fan and loved the games (1 through 4) so I purchased this as well as volume 2 to give me something to read during finals week at school.
I found myself reading and reading, more importantly though, I was enjoying the art of the mangas/5(36). This would have to happen in some alternate universe to canon now, as "Devil May Cry 3" basically wiped out the premise to this book (Dante doesn't know who he is until just before DMC 1).

Ive included both Code 1: Dante and Code 2: Vergil in this review since these are all that is when it comes to the Devil May Cry 3 manga series. (The artist quit in the middle of the three book and that was it for DMC3.) The story line between the two has enough /5.
